New team of deans elected at EBS Business School: Prof. Dr. Raša Karapandža, Prof. Dr. Karin Kreutzer and Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hommel
EBS Business School is being steered into the future by a new team. Raša Karapandža has been elected as the new Dean. He will take up his role on July 1. Raša Karapandža, who previously served as Vice Dean Education and Academic Director of the Master in Finance program, brings a wealth of experience and innovative spirit and will continue to drive EBS forward with a combination of entrepreneurial and academic expertise and provide new impulses.
Karin Kreutzer has been appointed Vice Dean Research and Ulrich Hommel Vice Dean Education. Karin Kreutzer, Professor of Social Business and Head of the Impact Institute, will strengthen our research profile. Ulrich Hommel, a professor of Finance with extensive leadership and quality management experience, will drive the development of EBS’s degree program portfolio with a focus on international visibility and impact.
The new leadership team has set itself ambitious goals for the future:
They strive for excellent and transparent leadership, want to promote further growth and engagement, expand international partnerships and further increase the international presence of EBS. "We also want to further improve our institutional image, with the aim of making everyone proud to be part of the EBS community." says Raša Karapandža.
The team is furthermore committed to academic excellence, characterized by high-quality education and impactful research. Research funding is to be increased in the future. Another goal is to enrich campus life by further promoting academic and cultural experiences and creating an inclusive community in which each individual is supported in their personal path to success.
