As the previous year, the full-time MBA programme was placed in the TOP TIER ONE group. This group represents the top-rated programmes without further differentiation of rank within the category. The EMBA programme, which EBS offers in cooperation with Durham University, improved in the ranking and achieved 43rd place this year (previous year: 44th place).

CEO Magazine has published its own Global MBA Ranking since 2012. This year's edition considered 309 programmes from 153 business schools in 24 countries. Criteria assessed include faculty quality, international diversity, accreditations, and promotion of professional development. The ranking aims to provide potential students with guidance when choosing a suitable MBA or EMBA programme, based on objective data points.
