EBS Universität is committed to developing and disseminating sustainable business solutions in research and teaching. These topics are bundled at the EBS Impact Institute. Numerous degree and executive education programs deal with the economic and legal framework of ecological transformation and the social challenges that need to be overcome. Together with project partners from business and politics, scientific findings and approaches are translated into practical solutions.

EBS Universität is committed to sustainable university development. It has set a net zero target for carbon emissions by 2030. To this end, EBS has compiled a greenhouse gas balance sheet for 2023 for the first time and had it confirmed in a greenhouse gas audit.

At the same time, a sustainability strategy has been developed, resulting in a comprehensive sustainability report that keeps track of the progress made in achieving the targets on an annual basis.
