Online Master programme for lawyers: EBS Universität offers part-time programme with a business focus
EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht is expanding its range of courses for the spring semester 2025 with the Master in Business for Legal Professionals (M.A.), a part-time online programme with a focus on business administration.
The programme, which was previously offered exclusively to EBS graduates, is now being opened up to the broader market for the first time. The practice-orientated study format is aimed at lawyers who wish to supplement their legal training with business skills.
An innovative programme for professional practice
In an increasingly networked and commercially orientated working world, lawyers are faced with growing challenges that require interdisciplinary thinking. Business expertise is often crucial in order to make well-founded decisions, advise clients holistically or successfully take on management tasks. The Master in Business for Legal Professionals enables lawyers to expand their legal expertise with business knowledge in a targeted manner and thus increase their career opportunities.
‘As a lawyer, I know from my own experience how important sound business knowledge is for professional success. With the Master in Business for Legal Professionals, we are creating a further education programme that optimally qualifies lawyers for the demands of a changing working world,’ adds Günther H. Oettinger, President of EBS Universität.
‘The demands placed on lawyers are constantly evolving. In many areas, business knowledge is an indispensable addition to legal expertise. With this degree programme, we offer a flexible and practice-oriented opportunity to develop these skills,’ explains programme director Prof. Dr. Ralph Tunder.
