EBS Professor Dr. Franziska Krause wins the Jürgen Hauschildt Award 2024
Prof. Dr. Franziska Krause, Professor of Marketing and Customer Insight at EBS Universität, has been awarded the prestigious Jürgen Hauschildt Award 2024.

The award is presented by the Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (TIE) Commission of the German Academic Association for Business Research (VHB) and recognizes outstanding academic work in the field of innovation management.
Prof. Dr. Franziska Krause's award-winning study, “Understanding Consumer Self-Design Abandonment: A Dynamic Perspective”, co-authored with Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and published in the Journal of Marketing, explores consumers’ experiences during the creative process of self-designing. Her research provides valuable insights into how companies can maximize the benefits of mass customization and self-design while minimizing abandonment rates.

Prof. Dr. Franziska Krause has been part of EBS Business School since 2022 and leads the Marketing & Customer Insight department. Her research focuses on consumer behavior, innovation management, and the digital transformation of marketing. She holds a PhD from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and was a visiting researcher at Harvard Business School.
