As an internationally-oriented unversity with numerous partner universities, encountering other nations and cultures is an integral part of the curriculum at EBS Universität.
Since our foundation in 1971 as European Business School (EBS), we have continuously reinvented ourselves. Today, the EBS Universität consists of three schools: EBS Business School, EBS Law School and EBS Executive School. Our mission is to educate the elite of the future – responsibly, sustainably, innovatively. To enable an elite that will make a difference in the world of tomorrow.
In order to perfectly combine theory and practice, EBS Universität is located in the heart of Europe, the Rhine-Main region – one of the strongest economic regions in the EU with 32,000 companies, including 2,200 high-tech production plants, sales and services enterprises and a population of 4.7 million.
Another advantage of EBS Universität: the European financial metropolis of Frankfurt with its more than 430 national and international financial institutions, including the European Central Bank, is just a stone's throw away.
At EBS, you have the best view even during your studies: EBS Business School and EBS Law School are located amidst the vineyards of the Rheingau, in the romantic Rhine Valley, which with its medieval castles and monasteries and its beautiful landscape is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
We are looking forward to your arrival!

Germany, and the Rheingau in particular, is a wonderful place to live. Here we answer some general questions about EBS student life.
More about housingA close and informal relationship between students, faculty and other staff members is typical of the atmosphere at EBS Universität. We are a small university providing individual guidance and support – we all know each other.
The climate on campus in Oestrich-Winkel with its historical buildings and green spaces is characterized by open and friendly communication. Campus life is not just about seminars and lectures. Faculty, administrative staff and students are all involved in a wide range of activities outside lectures and teaching.
The International Programmes Team is always at hand to deal with any administrative queries or concerns and to help with general needs such as housing or allocation of a student buddy (fellow students from EBS) who can support you on a day-to-day basis.
The student card or semester ticket covers the area of Rheingau, Wiesbaden, Mainz and Frankfurt. Our EBS Housing Service assists international students to find affordable accommodation close to the campus.
